Solution to V, IV

1. Our weekly game of D & D was interrupted by my dad, who said my dude was a dud who would soon be dead.  Sure enough, he died before he ever did a good deed.

2. Our trip to H & M was interrupted by a ham who began to hum a hymn and, pulling at the hem of my skirt, begged me to take him home.

3. Our meeting of the R & D department was interrupted by man rude enough to wave a red rod and insist that we read his pamphlet before going for a ride down the road.

Vowel Sandwiches

Series V: Pairs : Puzzle 4

1. Our weekly game of the classic RPG invented by Gary Gygax was interrupted by my father, who said my tourist at a western ranch was a non-starter who would soon be pushing up the daisies.  Sure enough, he passed away before he ever accomplished a good action.

2. Our trip to the fashion department store chain was interrupted by a scene-stealing over-actor who began to wordlessly intone the tune to a religious song and, pulling at the finished bottom edge of my skirt, begged me to take him to his residence.

3. Our meeting of the fact-finding and prototyping department was interrupted by man impolite enough to wave a crimson staff and insist that we peruse his pamphlet before going for a journey on horseback down the highway.

BONUS: Which of the following (123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321) is suggested by the name Aiden O'Mizeruff? Why?

HINT (rollover to reveal):

The connection to the theme (pairs) is weak but present. Vowel Sound Sandwiches. What would the filling be? Given that, what would the 'bread' be?
